Lesson 2

Lesson 2 will focus on First Class Markers.  What is a marker?  A marker is a word that marks the topic or the emphasis word of the sentence.  Markers are used with nouns, either proper nouns (like people’s names) or with common nouns (thing, places).  There are three different classes of markers.  In this lesson we will deal with First Class markers. Follow along with the video below for the lesson.After watching the video, do your written exercises before your next lesson.  The answer key in this week’s download files so that you can check your answers and find out if you have properly picked up on the lesson this week.
